Every now and then, those productions come along which provide one with the opportunity to both overcome adversities and blaze social trails for the community. This was that production. This small, brave ensemble of (predominantly) women–many of whom had never tackled Shakespeare’s text before–undertook this inverted-gender production of Shakespeare’s immortal tragedy. I am so proud of this production and, more importantly, these incredible women.
